Kristian Illum Wikkelsø

Kristian Illum Wikkelsø was taught carpenter in 1938 and subsequently studied at the School of Crafts. After finishing his studies he was employed by the architects Hvidt and Mølgaard. In 1954 he started his own drawing room. He drew, among other things. furniture for Eilersen and Farstrup Stolefabrik. Wikkelsø is known for his distinctive rocking chair, which he designed in the late 1950s.
