Hans J. Wegner - CH24 Y-Stol
Hans J. Wegner - CH24 (Soft Black)

Hans J. Wegner’s famous CH24 Y chair has achieved a special status within modern design with its unique shape. When designing the CH24, Hans J. Wegner chose to make the back and armrests from a single piece of wood. To make the steam-bent top stable and extra comfortable, Hans J. Wegner developed the characteristic Y-shaped back, after which the iconic Y chair is named. The manufacture of each individual Y-chair includes more than 100 parts, most of which are done by hand. A skilled braider spends about an hour hand braiding the seat, which consists of 120 meters of paper yarn, whose impressive strength and shape stability make the chair both robust and durable.

Børge Mogensen Den Spanske Stol
Børge Mogensen - Spanish Chair (Oak)

Børge Mogensen’s Spanish chair has a particularly poignant presence, with its solid construction and high quality leather. Over the years, the leather expands, and you can therefore tighten the chair using the adjustable straps. The Spanish chair is a true classic within Danish furniture architecture and one of Mogensen’s most acclaimed designs.

Arne Jacobsen Ægget Egg
Arne Jacobsen - Egg Chair

The Egg by Arne Jacobsen is one of the absolute masterpieces of Danish design. In the same way as a sculptor approaches the task, Jacobsen worked to find the perfect shape by experimenting with plaster and metal wire at home in his garage. Today, the chair is recognized all over the world, and stands as one of the greatest triumphs in Jacobsen’s legendary career and a monumental achievement in Scandinavian design.

Poul Henningsen - PH 2/1 Table Lamp

Poul Henningsen’s beautiful PH 2/1 table lamp was designed for Louis Poulsen. The lamp is just like Poul Henningsen’s other lamps, designed based on the principle of a reflective three-screen system which sends most of the light downwards. With shades made of hand-blown opalized three-layer glass, which is glossy on the outside and sandblasted glass on the inside, the lamp emits a glare-free and diffused light into the room. The PH 2/1 table lamp is available in three versions: high-gloss chrome, black metallized and brass metallized.

Hans J. Wegner - CH25
Hans J. Wegner - CH25 (Oak)

The CH25 lounge chair has remained extremely popular and has been in continuous production since 1950 – a clear testament to Hans J. Wegner’s visionary approach. A skilled braider spends 10 hours and around 400 meters of paper yarn to hand-braid the seat and back in a special braiding technique that resembles weaving and repeats itself on both sides of the backrest. The result of the demanding process is a unique chair that is breathtaking from every angle.
