Nanna ditzel

Nanna Ditzel was one of Denmark’s most innovative women during this period. Nanna Ditzel was born on October 6, 1923 in Copenhagen and was trained as a furniture carpenter in 1943 at the Royal Academy furniture school with the world renowned architect Kaare Klint as professor / teacher. Nanna Ditzel is known for her many wonderful furniture such as the Trinidad chair, Tuba chair and the hanging egg. In addition to furniture, Nanna Ditzel also designed jewelry for, among others, Georg Jensen.
